Child support and alimony

    If Mr Jones is supposed to pay $100 a month for child support and $100 per month in alimony but only makes ten monthly payments, how much is the Child support portion? Not sure if you just prorate or first allocate to child support.

    Child support always comes first, so I think $1200 for child support and $800 for alimony. I haven't studied this in a while, though, but I think this would be the answer.
