Can I actually use the Authoritative Literature tab to research SIM's?

Hi, all! I know this is probably a dumb question but I keep seeing people mention the fact that they used the Authoritative Literature tab during the SIM’s to research the correct answer. That kind of seems like it would be cheating, but I know that it’s right there for you to use. Is that really OK? I just took REG and really could have used it, but ended up not.

Yes, you can use it….don't depend on it though. I would suggest getting through what you can on the SIMs and then going back and using the literature tab to check yourself or on questions that you don't have the slightest idea of where to start. I used it somewhat during my FAR exam but found that using it can eat away at your time.

Great! And your advice makes sense – I'd definitely do everything I know on the SIM's first and then go back to check my SIM's using the literature tab if I had spare time. Thank you!

I used it on Reg for SIMS that went into more depth than what I learned in Becker. I think the fact that it is given to you they expect you to use it. It shows that you are able to perform research when necessary. I used in on portion of 3 of the 6 sims.

    I tested yesterday.
