I know it says you can’t bring food into the test center with you, but are you allowed to bring like a granola bar and put it in your locker and eat during a break if you take one?

yes you can. but keep in mind that you will have to sign out, take the time to get into your locker, eat your snack and then sign back in This takes precious time away from the exam and If there are others who happen to be signing in when you need to sign out and back in then it can delay your getting back to your exam. Probably best to eat a light meal or snack just before you enter.

Ya .. signing out an in could be troublesome … but if ur confident that u have time or u feel that u must eat something … sure thing … u wont lose anything if u put a granola bar in that locker 🙂 .

Good luck for all of us 🙂 me tomorrow !

I always take a break before the SIMs, on any exam. I go to the bathroom, inhale a granola bar, and chug some water. I'm always between 5-10 minutes, and it's absolutely worth it too. You get recharged and can talk yourself up. I always tell my prometric people that I'm going to take a break, and that my exam is timed. This way, when I come out to take the actual break, they put me first before anyone else signing in so I don't loose extra time.

I would agree with peanut, I always bring some kind of bar and eat it on the longer exams, but I always take a break before the final piece of the exams to refocus and take care of anything else.

Granola? I AT LEAST store three double cheeseburgers and a large fries in my locker – burger after each testlet 🙂

Make sure you look around the test room before taking a break to make sure there won't be a line when checking in/out.
