A week before my exam and I absolutely despise b law, anyone else who can relate to this? How did you guys prep for this part? Im not an accountant per se (finance) but I tend to pick up on accounting topics (JEs, tax, audit..) reasonably well especially when numbers are involved. I pick up on patterns and learn quickly but this b law stuff….what a pita. I can’t believe I’m actually going to say that but I’ll take gov acct over b law any day.

I just feel as b law = bunch of random….stuff

Dude, exam is next Thursday and I'm done trying to drill business law. There are way too many little details and fancy wordplay on a rather large amount of information for me to keep drilling it for only 20 percent of the exam….i'll stick to the main concepts and focus on everything else here on out

BTW, government accounting was way better than business law. Government accounting was straight forward….1+1 always equaled 2

BLAW is not really 40%. It's only about 20%. Another 20% is Ethics & Responsibilities.

Amor D is right, Blaw is only roughly 20%. However, the first time i took regulation, i would say i had closer to 30 or 35% blaw. Definitely dont blow it over. I suggest making charts, writing out the mnemonics and doing the questions 1 time completely through. Then include them in any progress tests you do and you should be familiar enough with that material.
