    Has anyone who has taken a portion of an exam feel truly ready and prepared? My test is on Monday and I am going back over portions that I feel I need to review. I was wondering if anyone who has passed felt ready before their exam.

    Not 100% ready…but ready enough that I'll know that I'll give a good fight when I'm stepping in the ring.

    Same as Anthony. My last exam is BEC here in another week. I initially was scheduled for 10/31, but didn't feel ready at all and thought I might get a job and would have to work. However, there has been a delay on the job, so I have studied full time and now pushing over 150 hours on BEC. I feel “almost” truly ready, but you just never know what they are going to throw at you and if your mind will recall under pressure. Do you feel truly ready?

    Like Anthony said not 100% but sometimes good enough to pass. I was only truly ready for AUD, got 90%+ at home and passed with 75. FAR you can never be ready for. I didn't feel ready for BEC (passed), didn't feel ready for reg (failed), studied some more and felt ready and passed.

    Never a 100% ready….But at least comfortable with all the material with enough to hopefully pass….

    I'm feeling confident but not 100% truly ready but don't think I will ever feel that way with an exam. Thanks for your responses.

    I think being “truly ready” varies for people. For me it means:

    1. going through all my notes
    2. all MCQ, especially incorrect ones
    3. all SIMs, especially incorrect ones
    4. rewriting notes taken to be more concise and reviewing them everyday
    5. doing random sets of MCQ to mimic the testing experience
    6. reviewing and strengthening any weak areas
    7. helping people here on the forum with questions as it helps to reinforce what you know

    Being truly ready for me means doing everything that I can do that is in my control.

    BEC = 72 (6/08/16)
    FAR = ?
    REG = ?
    AUD = ?

    For FAR, one of my toughest, I never felt totally ready. However, I felt I needed to be 100% on 75% on the topics, if you get me. I completely gave up on IFRS, for example, and certain other topics. But what I knew, I mastered.

    See my signature line below.

    You don't really know how ready you were until you take it. Some people go in thinking they were very well prepared and just bomb. They think certain areas won't be tested and then they get heavily tested on those areas, and not the areas they studied hard on.

    Probably not “truly” ready because there is just too much damn material covered. But, you should have confidence and think I am ready to give this exam everything that I have and I will hopefully pass.

    Unless you are a savant or a computer, I don’t know how anyone could be 100% confident in themselves. But, you have to have confidence and give it your best.

    Goodluck.

    I don't think no one is ever truly ready. I was never ready for any of the seven exams I took. For some of the exams I felt better prepared than others. The four I passed, are the one that I walked in feeling like a had a decent grasp on the material, but I still felt like I should have known more of the material.

    REG - 74, Retook 6/10/16, scored a 72 (Hate this exam)
    BEC - 69, 79, 8/1/15
    AUD - 83, 4/4/15
    FAR - 77, 2/27/16

    Thanks everyone, I am trying to stay calm. I didn't sleep much last night and I am having terrible anxiety today. This to shall pass whether I do well or not. I know the material, I just need to get my brain and body to relax and cooperate with me.
