Hey guys, do you know if the AICPA released questions provide good practice? My review course provides the released questions from 2013 to 2015. I thought it was a great idea until I saw this page with the following quote: (https://www.quora.com/How-does-one-get-the-recently-released-CPA-questions-from-the-AICPA):
“I am not a fan of people working these questions.
First – these questions have been retired. There are plenty of solid questions in your review course (assuming they license their questions from the AICPA like many of them do).
If you can work the regular questions and do well on them, you should be taking the exam, not working these ‘released’ questions.
Caveat: not everyone agrees with this take, but I didn’t work any ‘released’ questions when I was taking the exam.”
If anyone did work on these prior to the exam, were there near similarities to the actual exam?
