I am kind of confused. I use CPAExcel and on the SIMs for example, (when we have to type in our answers in a spreadsheet) If I don’t put distributions to partners or other cash out flows in negative number, on the feedback, I don’t get credit for that answer. While on other SIM questions such as Calculation of Self Employment Tax, I don’t have to use negative number.

Someone PLEASE help me how it works on the real exam? When do we have to put it as a negative number and when just without the sign?
