I just finished Audit and am now on to taking the Regulation exam.

    I’m taking it February 21.

    What I’ve Accomplished So Far

1.) Went to all the Becker classes

2.) Listened to all the Becker lectures

3.) Did all the Becker homework

I haven’t done anything else. Tips?

Spend 3 hours a night doing practice questions….

1 hour: 20-30 questions on Tax

1 hour: 20-30 questions on Business Law

    1 hour: Practice Simulations

Keep doing that until your exam date. I'm doing that right now, so I'll let you know next month if this study method works, heh!

    Thanks CPAMan!

    Sounds like a good plan.

Good luck to both of us!

I don't think you need to spend that much time on simulations every night. You are just going to memorize the questions from what ever software package you are using. It is more important to know the formulas/mechanics than to have practice. A decent portion of the Reg sims are conceptual anyways.

I'd do a slew of multiple choice questions every night the next couple nights and make a list of the items that you are consistently not comprehending. Then hit the books and focus on your weaknesses.

In addition, if you are using the 2011 book, read all the ancillary material 2-3 times.
