3 days until REG…

Hi All,

Just wanted to get some feedback on what I could be doing in the next 3 days to better prepare for REG. This will be my 3rd Exam and first time attempting Reg.

So far:

1) I initially started reading Ninja Notes for the business law portion. I think Jeff does a great job of outlining Blaw

2) I read the Wiley CPA Excel Book for the tax portion and did the MCQ and SIMs. Not going to lie it was really hard to understand at first and took a long time. I was averaging around 50-60 percent on the MCQ in the back of each chapter.

3) I skimmed the Wiley CPA Excel book for the business law portion and did the MCQ and Sims in the back of each chapter. I also Purchased WTB and did the MCQ after reviewing each chapter in BLaw

4) I re-read the Tax portion in Wiley CPA Excel and redid the MCQ in the back of the book. Did better second time around and felt slightly better with the material. I also did the WTB for these chapters after my review.

5) I completed the WTB with going through each question just once and with a 75 percent average, which was pretty bad.

6) I purchased Ninja MCQ and started hammering away. I should of just done all new questions but in the beginning I just let Ninja Choose.

Where I am at now:

These are my stats so far for Ninja MCQ.

Average score: 81%

Trending score: 85%

Total question attempts: 2405

Questions not seen : 239 ( 35 from entity taxation and 204 from BLaw)

Total Questions in test bank: 1921

Total Time 39 Hours.

So I am about 75 percent into the adaptive stage and plan on letting Ninja pick MCQ for me, but I will not lie my score has been getting higher due to me remember some of the questions which is not all that bad since it reinforces some concepts.

I have not attempted any sims, and planned on using the WTB sims since they are only for the Tax portion and I feel that would better suit me. I also plan on continuing to try to knock out atleast 250 MCQ from ninja a day.

I am wondering if I am at an okay place right now and if anyone could provide any suggestions to how to better prepare myself for this beast they call REG. Would you guys advise me spend time on the SIMs or should I just try to get 300-400 MCQ a day for the next 2-3 days. Maybe on the day before the exam I could take a ninja practice test. Any advice would be great!
