Hey guys,

I’m taking REG on Feb 29th. Anyone else taking it that day? Just wondering so we can be study buddies for the next 31 days. I’m using Roger CPA review. I just need to watch lectures for Secured Transactions, Bankruptcy, and Debtor & Creditor Relationships. I plan to be done with the lectures by Feb 1st.

That gives me 28 days minus 4-5 days off so I won’t fry my brain. I am somewhat familiar with the material so far. I’ve been doing questions after every chapter (22 in Roger) to refresh my memory. I’ve been studying since mid December so for some that’s probably a lot of review time. I’ve been taking it slow because tax was my weakest area in school and it’s my last section. I will be doing MCQs & SIMs with Roger and Becker.

So probably a dumb question but anyone have a recommended 3 week review plan?

I'm taking REG 2/29. Using Wiley. Wrapping up video lectures this weekend, then plan to review Ninja notes, and MCQ up to test date.

Taking REG on 2/29 too. Not yet done. Plenty things to cover and I AM BURNED OUT. It is what it is.

Also taking REG on the 29th! Already went through cpareviewforfree and a bunch of Fast Forward Academy, just grinding NINJA MCQs now. I'm having difficulty with this section, but NINJA has been helpful and my scores are slowly going up. Good luck guys!

Cool, it's good to know others in this forum taking the same date. I've done most of most Becker tax SIMs and been drilling with MCQs from Roger. I plan on taking my 1st practice exam with Becker tomorrow so hopefully it'll be good gauge of where I'm at. Second practice exam will be Feb 21st.

Struggling a little with corporate distributions and AEP & E&P (SH taxable income, return of cap, gain), what's added/deducted back to E&P, and passive activity losses. Basically calculation SIMs

I'm taking REG on the 27th! Glad there's people out there in the same situation. Studying with Becker and Ninja. I've stopped the videos and am just doing ninja MCQs for the last two weeks. My plan is also to go over all the SIMs in Becker.

I just finished my first practice test and I know I still have a lot of work to do.

1st testlet : 42% (!!!!)
2nd testlet: 71% (???)
3rd testlet: 58%

SIMs: 64%

Overall: 60%

How does this compare to the people who have passed?

@CantStopWontStop – focus on the concepts that you keep getting wrong in the mcqs. Forget about sims. Too little time left.

I have my test tomorrow.
Finished all the Ninja Sims yesterday.
Still need to do a lot more multiple choice.
I like some of the other suggestions of studying the IRC topic layout.

Good luck everyone! I've been hitting the NINJA MCQs hard, and I'm feeling a lot better than when I started. I still feel like this exam is my weakest area, but I think I'm ready. I hope to see you all on the “I Passed REG” thread on on the 9th!
