    If I pass AUD I will be taking REG during this window as well. BEC in Jan’18 and REG in Mar’18. I’ll find out in a week.

    with the lower 7.5% threshold for medical expenses eliminated at the end of 2016, are medical expenses then completely ignored for determining AMT income?

    Hello all. REG round two for me. Feeling more confident this time.

    I erased all of my progress and am starting from scratch. I listened to Jeff's podcasts, and that's what he recommended. He said you don't need to get 8 more points you need to get a 75 all over again. I am paraphrasing, but I am sure you'll get it.

    Let's do this!

    Hi everyone,

    I just started studying for the CPA exam. Right now I am studying for REG and planning on taking it at the end of February.

    I was wondering if anyone can give me insight on the CPA course they bought. I got Becker's course through my employer but the teaching style isn't working for me. I was thinking of getting Roger's CPA course to learn from his lectures and then practice with Becker's MCQ and TBS since I heard those are really close to what I should see for the CPA exam. Any advice?

    Yes. This is my understanding. Check out this link.

    BEC = 72 (6/08/16)
    FAR = ?
    REG = ?
    AUD = ?

    Hello everyone,

    While I am waiting for my FAR and AUD, I plan on taking REG in 1Q18 if I pass those both. How many hours/weeks would you suggest for REG preparation. I have Gleim review system.

    I took Reg at the end of the last testing window. I could of put so much more effort into studying, so I am studying as though I failed the exam and plan to take it again Mid-January.

    My plan is the same as the article about passing in 20 days.

    Starting my 2018 dash to the finish line off with REG. I'm using Becker because my last firm bought it for me and I only have a few months of license left on it. It worked great to get me through REG the first time I passed. I left public accounting this year after 6 years of Audit & Tax in a top 15 firm for a position as a financial analyst. Complete game changer for study time. I still partner with a group of CPA's to do tax on the side and some audit consulting.

    I'm actually in the predicament that I lose my Becker license in February so I'll be dropping the $299 to extend the license through May which gives me just enough window to crunch hard and hit all 4 sections.

    I've used a combo of the Ninja notes with Becker and that worked really well in the past. I think my plan for this round is just do everything Becker tells me to and worst case supplement with Ninja MCQ's if I'm noticing I've memorized too many Becker answers.

    Good luck everyone!
