2014 Reg and Bankruptcy

    Good Evening,

    I am taking REG this Friday May 30th. What is the threshold for creditor’s to take a debtor into bankruptcy? Is it $14,425 or $15,325. In the Wiley test bank it is showing up as $14,425. Also would this be the same for the wages going from $11,725 to $12,475.

    14425 & 11725 are the figures until July

    AUD - 65, 89!
    REG - 70, 89!
    FAR - 78!
    BEC - 77!

    wiley 2014 book says 15235. so assuming the figure changed on Jan 1 2014. it should be effective on July 1 2014.

    So the 14425 should be fine

    It's been $15,325 since July 2013 exams.

    I would not worry about these exact figures for the REG exam. On my exam they gave the figures you use to calculate for a problems, and they were not the actual rates. Good luck!

    I haven't read the topic at all, but I would really consider avoiding bankruptcy if at all possible. I mean I know these tests are hard and expensive, but it's not all bad.
