Hi guys,

The materials that I own at the moment are currently: 2011 Roger Review Book on REG, 2011 Wiley REG Book, and 2013 Wiley Test Bank. Are there any major changes to REG info that I should know of or am I okay by using the old books?

dto, do you have access to the book updates for Roger? I pretty much used the same as you have listed but I had the print out book updates for the Roger book. I tested and passed 12/2012.

Hey littlenumberrobot,

I just recently printed it out as well! But I was wondering, would the material from the reading in the modules of the Wiley Book be greatly affected from the changes? So I shouldn't rely on the wiley book info???

Honestly I hated reading the Wiley Book, its a tough read. If you have Wiley Testbank each questions has a link to text if you are unsure of the answer or explanation. That is all you need along with the questions themselves. In my opnion!

I think I am going to buy the updated books, because thinking about it now the module problems from the 2011 book would be wrong too, i think…

Or check it out from the library if you dont want to shell out more money. Ive seen a lot of people suggest that for Wiley Books

The 2011 Wiley book does not focus enough on Tax Preparer information and Treas. Circular 230. If you're using the 2011 Wiley book, read the Treas. Circ. 230 update in the 2013 book and read the AICPA Statement on Standards for Tax Services. You won't regret it!
