2011 calculator – does pressing escape still clear it?

    Taking Reg soon and I have a habit of using the escape to clear my calculator in exams. Does the new format still Clear All like that.

    You couldn't pay me enough to hit “Esc” during the exam. Although if you hit ‘Alt + F4', it goes all ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire' and you get three lifelines. Pretty sweet huh…

    The new calculator has both a ‘clear' and ‘clear tape' feature. ‘Clear' deletes the current text box, while ‘clear tape' deletes the electronic calculator tape; a new feature on the exam.

    Perhaps you can check the AICPA practice test for functionality.

    You get a “calculator tape”? I bet that is nice. Too bad I”m only taking AUD, I probably won't get to use the fancy calculator. Nice feature for REG, BEC and FAR though!
