What is the AGI limit for medical expense deduction from now on-wards? Anyone know?

    Thank you,

    Sincerely, Alexander Dernfel III.

Not important. Just make sure and know the limitations. Everything is fair game.

    REG 88
    FAR 93

What limitations? The limitations to the AMT exemption that's phased out and triggered at 150,000?

I think iwantmylifeback_ may have been referring to the adjustments (if you're using Becker, PANICTIME for individuals; can't remember the mnemonic for corporations) and preferences to taxable income to arrive at tentative AMTI. I would also know the AMT exemption formula for corporations. I personally wouldn't memorize the individual/MFJ/MFS exemption amounts because I see that as cruel and unusual punishment if the AICPA decided to test that. Obviously, you could be tested on anything under the sun, but here's my personal speculation/reasoning: a) there are more practical things they could/should test on, and b) the chances of enough people knowing those amounts to get the question past the pre-test level is slim to nil. If you did see a question where you were required to know the individual/MFJ/MFS amounts, my guess is it would probably be a pre-test question.

I thought I read that they are testing over the new 2013 changes in REG. I don't know if they test over 2012 items anymore. Either way, I have REG in 2 weeks.

    FAR - 84
    AUD - 94
    REG - 86
    BEC - 86

This kicked in back on July 1. 2012 is no longer tested.
