I used Ninja and did a lot of mcq-over four thousand, got into the 90s (close to “review” stage). Was trending 80%. Got a 79% on practice exam. Did all Sims at least once.

Exam:

Testlet 1: Flagged 5-6 but I always flag those I don’t know right away. I would say 2-3 I had to use educated guesses. Not a bad testlet

Testlet 2: Flagged a lot more. MCQs weren’t necessarily longer, but they worded some questions really weird. I had to think about what they were asking even though it was a topic I knew. Again 3-4 educated guesses. I would say it was a little harder than testlet 1. I had 2 I was unsure of but looked up later and got them right.

Testlet 3: Similar experience with Testlet 2. Looked up 2 later and found out I got them wrong (Too much overthinking!!)

Sims: Sad face is all I can say! I’m pretty confident I got the research right. Two of them I’d say I was 60-65% confident on. I’ll at least get partial credit.

One I’m 50% confident on-hoping to get SOME kind of credit. One was really hard, again praying for ANY sort of credit. I was making educated guesses for calculations because my brain hurt. So more likely I won’t get many points for that.

The last one pissed me off so much! Crazy amount of detail in a question that was barely covered. It is what it is but I certainly did NOT do well on that. Praying it was a pretest.

I walked out of that testing center almost in tears! After the MCQ I wasn’t thrilled about how it was going but I thought I was doing good enough to pass. The testlets only seemed to get a little trickier, no paragraphs but wording was kind of tricky. The SIMS crushed my confidence!

Please someone give me some inspiration! This is my last exam!

You can never tell. The first time I took REG, I finished with an hour and a half to spare, and I felt pretty good about my score …… 74. The second time I sat, I took the entire time and felt horrible. I passed with an 81. Stay positive and try not to obsess too much. I'm waiting on my AUD score. If I pass, I am finished, too.

Did the AL help?

4,000 MCQ's with your scores is a very good indicator.

I didn't have enough time to utilize the AL besides the research

If a SIMS experience like that means you failed, I think you'll have a lot of company.

I haven't been following reg posts that long, but I can tell you in the last month or two there's been more than enough of posts describing the SIMS as you have.

My bet is that you passed – seriously. Be sure to come back and tell us!
