This is a thread for people who took REG and are awaiting results and perhaps want to feel better about how they did. I have been studying like a madman the last few weeks and took the exam Friday 2/28. I went into this REG exam as confident as I could have been and I did not feel great coming out. This is my overall assessment:

-Decent multiple choice. I think perhaps they got harder in the second testlet. I had a few “easy” ones that I definitely missed. I also had several MCQs that I had to guess on that involved calcs. I would say the difficulty overall was moderate.

-SIMS were absolutely miserable. I didn’t have one slam dunk SIM where I know I did it right, not even the research question, which was also somewhat ambiguous and frustrating. All but one of my SIMs were calculation where I had to type in the exact number, which doesn’t favor my skills. I finished them all, so didn’t have any blanks, but they drained me and drained my morale I had built up before the exam.

I am praying, praying, and praying more that I did enough to pass. I have procrastinated finishing the exam for years and this is my last part.

@Coffees56 I did not take mock exams as I don't find that they benefit me very much. I do better with instant feedback on why I missed something rather than continuing the entire exam doing it wrong.

I scored 74 on REG … and then another 74 on REG … and lost my FAR credit.

The reassuring part is that I stopped feeling sorry for myself and scored a 92 after that 🙂

I took REG on June 21. First set of MCQs were tough, second were tougher. I made quite a few guesses. First set of TBS got a research question. Did a search query and found 8 related topics. Searched and searched and couldn't find the perfect answer (I am normally good at research.). Finally settled on the best answer I could find but had a bad feeling.
In second set of TBS got a question that required reference to authoritative literature. Going through the menu and table of contents stumbled upon the section with the perfect answer to my previous research question. Somehow it didn't come up in the search query but it would have been so easy to find had I just searched through the table of contents. Too late to go back as the first set of TBS was already closed. Very frustrating! If I get a 74 this will be terrible. Ha ha hoping for the best with another two weeks waiting for the score release.
