    REG Help!! Exam on the 5th and running out of time. Any chapters to focus on?

    Chapters 1-4 super heavy duty. But you cannot neglect B-Law. Coming to think of it blaw was almost like every other question. Literally

    I would also know chapters 1-4. Go over basis, E&P, Liquidation, partnership, gift basis. Those types of questions. Good luck. I just took it today and get my score back on 12/8. It's the last one that I need. I have to pass before 2/28 or I'm going to have to retake FAR. So stressful.

    Do as many questions as you can focusing on your weak areas. Spend sometime working sims paying attention to problem setup for calculations. Then hope for the best and perform as well as you can. No one can tell you what will be on your test bc everyone is different. You give yourself the best chance to pass the exam youre given by preparing the best you can with the time you have left and maintaining a positive attitude

    I echo working on weaker areas, but areas that are not B-law because of chance of showing up on sims. Im not saying to ignore B-law, but this won’t help you as much as working on tax topics. Also, I would work at least 100 Sims because the sims do a better job of testing your actual knowledge of tax topics. Plus, they tend to test knowledge in multiple areas. If your goal is to actually gain new knowledge, I believe Sims will be the difference at this point because they expose lack of knowledge of frequently tested topics in both MCQ and Sims.

    I gotta say…when I failed REG (only test I failed) I got a 74 and the only area I was “weaker” according to the report is BLaw so don't ignore that!

    REG sims are the easiest sims IMO. Just focus on the MCQ. If your test is on the 5th you have basically a week to do 400 MCQ a day.

    REG: 74, 78
    AUD: 86
    FAR: October?
