@kiester thanks! I used Gleim the first time I took it and then my friend gave me access to his Becker account for my retake. So I did all the Becker MCQ and practice sims in addition to the Gleim questions. I think the biggest thing was rereading all the text and really solidifying the underlying concepts.
I'll be honest, I'm still surprised at how high I scored.
November 7, 2016 at 7:33 pm #1315090ryan33Participant@needsa75 you freaking killed it! Wow… I really, really hope that I get just a passing score. I remember you had felt very similar to me in your testing experience. That gives me some hope that you did so well. All I need is a 75 and I'm done forever!
Do you think that doing well on the sims really helped your score?? You must have done better on MCQ than you originally thought to get that score.

REG -November 8, 2016 at 1:42 pm #1315559Nisso AlimovaParticipantOn 11/4 I got my result on REG exam. PASSED! What means I’m DONE with my CPA exams! Hurray!
AUD – 90 (10/27/2015)
BEC – 81 (1/4/2016)
FAR – 84 (2/29/2016)
REG – 77 (73, 71) (10/20/2016)I used Becker and Ninja materials.
My goal was to complete all 4 exams within 6 months, but for some reason got stuck with REG. Every time, I would get that I’m strong on MCQ and weak on SIMs part. With REG I felt like simulations were so much different from what we practice in our test bank and was already about to switch to different test bank when I found out that I PASSED it.
I’d like to mention that Ninja for $47 provides a great test bank (MCQs). In my opinion, most MCQs are similar to Becker but with latter you spend much more money.
Also, special thanks to Ninja forums (www.another71.com). They helped to stay motivated throughout the process. In my situation, when you have full time job at the public company, child, husband and being pregnant at the same time, made the process more challenging. But when you read through the forums that you are not alone, your peers are also struggling through the circumstances, helped to stay on track and complete the process!
What a relief and happiness at the end! Such a rewarding feeling!
On my behalf, I would like to congratulate everyone who also got great news with last Score release and to wish good luck to those who are in the process of studying and taking the exams!

Your post is so refreshing to read! I honestly have felt like giving up also, but when I read this blog, it makes me feel like I am not alone.
This is not an easy exam to take, hence the reason why the passing scores are less than 50% across the board and this is a worldwide exam.
Congrats!
November 12, 2016 at 12:47 pm #1317367mtaylo24ParticipantMy test sucked really bad, I probably did worst than my first time sitting. I swear they wrote brand new MCQs this quarter, the sims were definitely the highlight. A few of the questions I recognized, but I checked Gleim and I know I got them wrong. I had way too many problems like “The answer would be A if xxx wasn't there”. Such a waste of time and money.
AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
FAR - (8/16)November 14, 2016 at 10:15 am #1318249Jeremy EtringerParticipantWell I see Im not the only one. Took Reg last Thursday. Barely any MCQs on the major topics, and a whole bunch on miscellaneous crap that I dont recall going over, or was just really tricky. Also was getting some of those tricky one liner type questions, that someone mentioned, on the second and third testlet which is worrisome.
Needless to say, I wasnt very happy. I legitimately studied A LOT for this, and those MCQ nearly make me feel like I studied for the wrong test.
November 14, 2016 at 11:00 am #1318285ljohnsfParticipantI took Regulation today, my first time sitting for any of the sections. I am not eeling confident at all. Is this what the other sections will feel like?! The multiple choice and the SIMS made me feel inadequate and like nothing I studied or reviewed could have prepared me. I am currently using Becker, and I think I may as well go the NINJA route.
November 14, 2016 at 11:11 am #1318289Sticky NickyParticipantjeremy what materials did u use?
November 14, 2016 at 11:18 am #1318303mtaylo24Participant@Jeremy and @ljohnsf …sucks we kind of all had the same experience. I legit spent 136 hours doing Ninja MCQs alone, this isn't even including the time spent hammering Gleim.. Finished with Ninja w/ 4909 MCQs, and still don't think I broke 60 on this test.

November 14, 2016 at 12:04 pm #1318321ljohnsfParticipantI will just leave it up to the test graders, and for now, begin my study for BEC. Good luck, all, on your scores!
November 14, 2016 at 12:30 pm #1318348AnonymousInactiveI cannot concentrate in AUD. I feel like I have this huge rock called REG hanging over my head threatening to kill me…
November 14, 2016 at 5:08 pm #1318633Pawn MakerParticipantmtaylo24, I feel exactly the same way. I got through AUD and BEC on the first shot and felt pretty good after those exams…REG on the other hand just demonstrated that I was woefully unprepared despite over 3k of MCQs. If I were to bet I would say I got somewhere between a 50 and a 60.
November 14, 2016 at 6:22 pm #1318702AnonymousInactive@ryan33 You passed with 83-87. Good job
