Hi.

I took REG last week and had the new TCJA for most questions.. including 199a. Just make sure you know how to calculate it and the phase out amounts. The becker program explained how to calculate it in detail.

I took my exam beginning of January and I felt the exact same way. Glad to know someone else had that same experience. I had studied the 199A so much and other new changes and got nothing about them and then got a ton of BLAW question. I was so bummed after leaving the exam.

So I took the exam. Biggest take away is: study for everything, guys. I had tons of business law and ethics questions. Can't tell for now, but I'll update on the 26th if I pass. I finished everything on time. The last testlet took so long; I spent the last whole hour on it.

Stick to the tried and true areas that are tested heavily. Put most of your focus there and gain a basic understanding of the ancillary stuff. You may get a couple of questions pertaining to 199A, but you will get a ton of business law, like-kind, etc.

Hi guys,

I was thinking of dropping the BLAW. But is sounds like they stared to heavily test it. Many of my friends were like just focus ur attention on the first chapters from Becker and the BLAW if you have time do it l. If not that’s fine make sure you hummer the rest.

Business Law is heavily tested. Skimping on it is not a great idea. I would put less focus on memorizing phaseouts, etc., but not B Law.

@jimmy dugan . i will try to cover it as much as i can. Sorry got bit confused about what you mean by phaseouts. My problem is Reg is my last paper and i am nervous about my credit.

Just took REG on Friday last week. I was very surprised at the content of the exam. Hoping that my ease on the MC carries me through because about half of my sims were out of nowhere. I was hoping to see more TCJA. Gooduck everyone

I took it in Q1 of 2019 and got my score today. Passed with an 80.
