Partial credit for the research question?

So I took REG today and with the research question I found the right section but put down the wrong subsection.

Is it possible that they give out partial credit for this? What makes me think it is possible is because there is 3 separate boxes to enter information.

Lets say its a 10 point question, maybe they give 2 for the right literature, 4 for the right section, and 4 for the right subsection?

I dont know, i guess this is just wishful thinking because I really needed the research question to have a shot at passing

    thanks for the insight

    Hey Pipper,

Don't think they give partial credit for the research question based off of Becker's grading system but I might be wrong. That being said, goood luck!!! Hope you passed!

I'm pretty sure it's all or nothing on those. I also remember reading somewhere that the research question is worth only a small amount of points, so wherever I read it was advising not to spend a whole lot of time on it. Not sure if it's true or not, just based on what I read a month or two back.

I don't think it is a small amount of points. It is likely worth just as much as the other simulations and close to 7%.

I agree with Mary 2496. I have Yeager materials and Cindy Simpson noted on one of the videos that the research questions are only worth a few points (possibly 3), but any points help. Although I do believe that it all or none, no partial credit for the research questions.

I totally agree – every single point helps and I wish I could remember where else I read that, but it was the same as the Yeager materials – that it's worth only a few points. The place I was reading was emphasizing spending more time refining the other sims and not devoting a whole lot of time (go back and check your answers) due to its low point value.
