I really hate that I waited 5 years after college to finally sit for my first exam.
MCQs felt easier than all of the review questions I did, but did feel each testlet got a bit tougher. Probably spent too much time both going back through the MCQ and getting bogged down on one of the sims.
The research sim – fairly sure I got it right. 2 of the other 5 felt OK and 1 I know I screwed up. Hope that one was a pretest.
Took REG because our firm is primarily tax work. Thought I’d be most comfortable. All of my practice sims were easy because I didn’t have to do any research. So, I probably didn’t manage my time very well – I had to rush through the last two sims yesterday. Weird for me, because I used to have to slow myself down for tests like this. Tried to make an effort to check all of the MCQs – probably my downfall.
But without having ever gotten results before, I could talk myself into a 65, or I could talk myself into an 85. Really no idea how I feel about it.
REG (2/27/14): 82
BEC (5/30/14): 90
AUD (8/18/14): 88
FAR (11/17/14): 81
