No, I’m not giving up. But I stepped out of my (supposedly) last exam today. I truly thought it was the last time I needed to step in and out of a prometric center. I remember one very funny ninja told me that I would be like those astronauts who just completed a mission but it didn’t feel like that at all. It’s so hard.. I really thought I had done enough to understand REG. I finished all the SIMs in Roger and NINJA, even REDID the SIMs in NINJA for the ones I got incorrectly, (though no amount of SIMs would have prepared for the stuff they threw at you, lord, the SIMs today were out of this world)

I literally have no idea how I should even proceed. Besides the BLaw questions, I have done every question in NINJA and their SIMs and more. I’ve finished Roger’s AND redid stuff in there. How am I going to restudy for this section? Should I just suck it up and buy the Gleim testbank? Heard many good things and I feel like I should just swallow the cost.

I really thought the exam really broke me today. I understand that I should very grateful that I live near many prometric centers and that the one I’m chose is relatively close. But the 405 CANNOT survive a day (even a weekend) without an accident. Oh my lord, I was driving home and all I wanted was food but I had to sit through an hour’s traffic. I almost broke down crying because I was so sad that I had to take this section again… 🙁

Hasy, dont lose hope. I know REG can be a bit difficult but honestly if you can pass FAR anything is possible imo. I just despise FAR everything seems so foreign and complicated for me.

Best of luck to those waiting for scores next friday!

There is still hope. I walked out of my REG exam about 90% sure that I failed. I know for a fact that I didn't get the research sim correct. I also just entered all zeros in another sim because I ran out of time. I probably got partial credit on another because I had to rush through it. I was stunned when I checked my score and found out that I got an 82. There is a good chance that you passed also, so try not to stress too much.

@a1lessio – Similar to Q4. It's easier to get away with it when you can blame it on people being less prepared. Q1 can be worse than Q4 though most likely because people try to do it during busy season and it fails miserably. Q1 wouldn't even need much adjusting though, it's naturally a crap quarter because of busy season. REG had a 39% pass rate in Q1 2006 lol

When I took aud for the third time and I had passed the other three I left the center feeling exactly the way you describe. I literally cried on the way home and then got a call from prometric that I forgot my license there. I began studying that day for my fourth attempt and was shocked a few weeks later to learn I got an 84. You may well have passed despite being seasoned enough at this to have a feeling about your score.

@hasy You know the drill. Don’t be discouraged. You have studied your heart out and there is no way to predict that score. You just have to wait and see what happens. Use this time to recharge your battery and enjoy the season. You will either be celebrating or studying after you find out, but either way, you know you will soon be a CPA. 😉
