I am still in shock! Took REG for the 3rd time after studying lots more and feeling really good about how I did when I left the exam. 69, 72 and now a 62!!! This doesn’t seem possible? Anyone else? Would you get a score review?

ummmm yeah. How about this? I passed AUD, BEC, and FAR from April 2016-Oct 2016. Failed REG with 60 in Dec 2016 and in March 2017 with a 66. Would not even waste your time or effort for a review. They will not change your grade. Pay the money for a new test and start over. I know it sucks. You may feel like your going backward but here's my story. Been testing since 2013. Had 7 straight failures before my 1st pass in April 2016. In preparing for that pass I started meeting at starbucks with a friend as accountibility partners for the exam. So I had about an 18 month headstart on him in terms of this exam and he finished with 3/21/17 score release. I almost lost my mind!!!!! But I had to get it together and internalize the fact that everyone's journey is different. Yes its feels personal everytime you fail because of the time, sacrifice, and money spent for these exams. But get your anger, frustration, sadness out as quickly as you can. Then begin again with a renewed sense purpose for your preparation to accomplish your goal.

To me it seems people on this site don't think about the fact that the examiners intentionally have created a process designed to intentionally discourage a certain percentage of people who attempt this exam. That's why they curve the test to have a little less than a 50% regardless of the jibberish they put on there website about there unique scoring model and blah blah blah. Ive studied for this this test an average of 20hrs a week for the past four years. I am not a Harvard and MIT grad but I am not stupid either. I think like any business the AICPA has a certain type of customer that's seems to be more profitable than others.

At any rate just testing. You will achieve your goal as long as you continue to persevere.

Yes, I think I know how you feel (see signature).

I like to think they are just testing me to see if I will give up.

In May, I'm going to master every word of the REG book and get a 99. That'll show them!
