Just got out of REG and was borderline shocked that two topics hit heavily in review were basically ignored on the test. I obviously can’t say which topics, but one was supposed to be a pretty big deal and I might’ve had 2 MC on it.

Unlike my first go round with REG I don’t feel like I need to immediately file a police report and get a rape kit, so that’s good. Felt more like my experience with FAR where I “only” felt like I’d been run over by a train. So I’ve got a shot I guess..

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

    Done!!

@pyro261, I feel like I have noticed a lot of Becker users talking about how they felt blindsided by a lot of the questions. I just find it sad considering how crazy expensive Becker is. I am not a Becker user BTW.

    FAR 12/3/14, 87
    AUD 2/3/14, 90
    BEC 4/1/14, 88
    REG 5/27/14, 94

The thing with REG is that there is just so many little nuances. There are a millions rules and exceptions to every rule. I found myself being unable to retain anymore info. I also was shocked at the amount of business law on mine. Becker said about 80% tax 20% law and I felt it was more like 60-40.

I did think Becker prepared me though. It touched on most of the things in the exam, I just didnt remember every detail.

I am not going to lie, there are time during my exam on Wednesday where I was like “What the fuck am I doing?”. Maybe I am just burnt out from going at this the last 5 months. I dont feel to badly about it though…sims were not too difficult. Guess we will see next friday…

Sooooo I just took my exam… Riddle me this: I have done every Wiley Question (average 82%) Every Ninja MCQ (Avg 80% Trending 90+) Many of these questions on several occasions, plus other misc. sources, plus all of Ninja SIMs + Wiley SIMs… and I honestly do not think I saw more than 40% of the material I was tested on. Is it score release day yet?

The other tests are not like this or did you feel like this with all of the tests. I just been reading REG experience thread and many people are saying simillar things that you guys are saying.

A week ago I was in panic mode. I felt inadequate in a couple areas, but I've been studying hard for the last week including the previous two full days. I felt pretty strong on the way to the test this morning, knowing the concepts before they were stated on the Ninja Audio, then bam. Of course. Why do I ever feel even the least bit prepared for these exams. They always knock me off my feet. The sad part is, even though most of the material was nothing I covered, I felt ok with the MCQ's. The pit, they didn't seem to get any harder. I don't know if it's relevant, but hardly any of them were wordy. By the time it came to the SIMS I was out of my mind. If I could've kept my head on straight I think they would have been doable, but I was 200% in panic mode. Trying to find everything in the literature and just confusing myself more. Pretty sure I bombed every SIM except the research question. Sigh. I can hope, but I'm already planning to study through June and retake the beginning of July. Good luck to everybody!

Took REG a few hours ago, too. Felt ok with the MC, but the sims were unbelievable. At least I only have to wait a week to find out instead of the 24 days after I took AUD.

    AUD - 95 (2/3/14)
    REG - 5/30/14 (Get score 6/6/14)
    FAR - July, 2014
    BEC - August, 2014

Here is what pisses me off about REG

They only make it a three hour test so the simulations can't have too many calculations or multiple steps like the SIMS on FAR because they didn't give you enough time to do complicated questions.

So, as opposed to knowing all of the journal entries and consolidation worksheet steps like you have to for FAR, they basically have to take any random small topic from a MCQ and bastardize it to turn it into a sim. The subject matter they choose for their sims can be any random MCQ that may only be covered slightly for in the book but they will turn it into a full simulation. God help you if you missed that one MCQ because they won't have you complete any type of tax schedules with multiple data entry points because you don't have the time.

I am just really bitter about one of my sims and I am not happy with another one where I had to do a multiple step calculation and they only gave me one answer box. If I wasn't clear on one the 6-7 items I had to add or subtract I will get the whole thing wrong…frustrating!

    @akkula

What you say about the SIMMS is exactly what I feel too, one mistake in multiple step Calc and you get the final answer wrong.

I need Gods help in passing this one. Very nervous. At least we won't have to wait long.

Its nice to come to these posts and not think I am the only one just not getting it with REG.

I took it for the 2nd time last Tuesday –I felt like I got through the MCQs ok but the Sims were a friggin' bear again. Two topics were items which had about 1/2 page coverage each in the Schweser material (which I most certainly will not use again if I have to take the test over again) and one topic which I should have known but just blanked on it, till it was too late (ran out of time).

So its been an anxious week -can't enjoy the downtime not studying – and will be an anxious next few days till Friday afternoon because if I passed REG, I am done but if I failed, I get a doubleheader in taking REG again and losing my credit for FAR (passed 11/29/12). So , we'll see – Good luck to everyone else out there!

    FAR – 77

    BEC – 76

    AUD – 67/81

    REG – 62/ May 27, 2014

REG–the section that will give you the biggest mind F__K as you can see above.

I thought I passed my first time because my exam felt so easy and I ended up with a 73.

I thought I failed the second time because my exam felt so hard and I pretty much got one simulation completely wrong and I end up with an 86.

The first time I stacked this exam in the same section as BEC and I don't think I studies enough. The second time I was scoring consistently in the 80s with wiley on comprehensive exams. I really think scoring in the 80s consistently is the key to most of the sections.

Got a 79! YEA! Thank the LORD that I didn't see that topic! YES!

So I'm happy to say after the worse test ever, I passed with an 86. I am DONE.

    FAR 1/4/14 88
    BEC 2/27/14 93
    AUD 4/14/14 86
    REG 5/29/14 86

    That's all Folks!!!

    Howd ya do Longshot??

I left reg feeling super stressed out. I looked up answers and KNOW i missed 5-7 multiple choice ( I looked up the topics). 2 of my Sims were BRUTAL and I felt like I was barely piece things together and even then….I left feeling not so great.

And I got my score today and stood blankly at the 92 for about 8 seconds before registering that was MY score and I PASSED!

Really, try not to judge your performance based on how you feel when you leave the exam.

    REG - 92
    AUD - 90
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 82

    DONE! /Happydance
