I just got out of Reg exam and I feel like I just got punked really bad. I got a 72 but after this exam I appreciate my 72 because I’m sure I did worse this time around. I almost feel like reapplying right now and then just start studying again for regulation. I don’t even want to wait for my score 30 days from now because I already know that I failed or at least it feels like I did. The exam this time around was definitely harder. I feel like I did okay on the multiple-choice questions but I really feel like I got simulations from hell. It was so bad that I just fast forwarded all the way to the research tab which I feel like I got that at least. Then I just started picking and choosing from the other simulations. At this point I had about an hour to get through these simulations as I felt the life slowly being sucked out of me I tried my best I tried my best to do the damn simulations. I can honestly tell you I didn’t know what the hell they were asking but I just did what I could do I didn’t leave anything blank I was able to finish all the simulation but no-confidence at all. If I pass this exam there is a God and miracles can happen!!! Sorry if there are any grammar errors I’m so upset I don’t even want to edit this post right now because I’m doing it through my iPhone

I took REG today, and my SIMs were death as well.

Everyone I've talked to got slaughtered too.

My MCQ got progressively harder and I got the research one.

Everyone literally had the same experience.

Well even though it sucks we all got crappy Sims, it might be help in getting a nice curve. Too bad we have to wait a whole month to find out. Since studying for the CPA exams i have experienced the worse days of my life. SMH!!!

You just described my two experiences with AUD. First one wasn't horrible and I got a 65. The second one was so awful that I almost started crying after the second testlet. I did cry in my car for 30 minutes before I could leave the parking lot and I went to the bar for two hours to calm down enough to go pick up my kids. I got an 85 on that one. You really just never know. If you feel that strongly about it, you can always continue to do light studying until the score release and the make a plan to retake or move on to another section depending on your results. You may want to schedule your exams closer to the end of a wave next time so you don't have to wait as long for your score. The waiting is pure agony. Good luck!

Nick, I have a similar thought process. Studying FAR, not wasting time waiting to see if I fail if I can't take it until October anyway…but hopefully neither of us will!

I don't think anyone will feel good after taking any parts of the CPA exam. You never know sometimes you felt you did ok and you end up failing the exam. if you felt bad after the exam, there is a chance that you might pass. i remembered when i took Reg, the sims were so crazy i almost gave up during the simulations and i told myself “damn i had to retake this”.Surprisingly, I passed with 89. So you never know. Until score release date, calm down and relax!!! best luck!!!

@needhelpnow. For my preparation for my 2nd retake of Reg i started studying on jun10th 7 days a week about 5 hours daily average. So i put in about an additional 100 hours or so for the second time around. Overall about 300 hundreds which is insane!!

I suggest studying for your other sections if you have any left. If not, just enjoy yourself until you see your score, then go from there. Congratulations on finishing! =P
