Look, I put ample study time in; about 6 weeks. But on exam day, I felt like everything I learned was out the window. Not quite sure who advises on the percentage of tax and blaw covered because I was not as prepared for the blaw portion.

I kept one sim completely blank (pretest), wasn’t sure about my research answer, and seriously made educated guesses on 3 of the remaining 4. My testlet went from medium, to difficult, to easy/medium.

I had moments of doubts deep down. But I kept believing I passed. I told myself everynight while waiting for my score.

I passed with a 77. Do the work and you’ll pass.

BEC: 4/15/13 - 79
AUD: 7/15/13 - 75
REG: 8/28/13 - 77
FAR: 11/26/13 - 75

what study materials did you use?

also did you have any prior exp with tax courses??

REG is the biggest beast of all…and you just tamed it.

I finally passed the CPA Exam! I had to retake AUD because it expired. I was struggling with FAR. failed FAR twice and was ready to GIVE UP. but I sucked it up, used both the WILEY & CPAEXCEL modules to study heavily and went through the ROGER CPA videos for FAR and passed it with a 75. DON'T GIVE UP. it took me two years but now there is a certificate on my wall from NASBA saying “Congratulations you have passed all four sections of the CPA Exam” and I just sent in my application for my license today. IT WAS WORTH IT. Another71 kept me laughing and motivated. DON'T EVER GIVE UP DON'T EVER GIVE UP DON'T EVER GIVE UP. When you pass it will all be worth it. I promise you that!!!!

For the first two testlets, there are so many questions that I am sure I haven't seen in the textbook or MCQ practices. And I still remember that I was staring at the screen with my big eyes, my mind was totally blank cuz there is no way that I can find any hint from what I have studied.
