I took the REG exam today… I feel numb. I have studied all nights after work and prepared so well, only to find some huge sims that are mentioned on my book in just one single sentence.

I did the best I could… and it took me the whole 3 hours allowed to complete the exam.

They are going to give out the scores before March 10 2014… and I think I am going to take some time now to relax until I will get my awful score so I know I will have to review REG again instead of moving on to my last exam, BEC.

It is nice to see you all had the same experience as me. REG is so much different from the other sections because they can take topic that should be covered as a multiple choice question and somehow make it into a detailed simulation while completely ignoring some of the more complicated basis calcs and taxation items. WTF.

I took it for a second time and I feel defeated again but hopefully I did well enough to pass. The first time I got a 73 and the only thing I have going for me this time is that I KNOW that I got harder testlets than the first time. However, I am not sure if I did better on the sims.

Hopefully I was able to hold serve on the SIMS and do better on the MCQs than I did last time. I only need two points!
