Finished with an hour left, bad sign? - Page 2

I finished with an hour left, is that a bad sign? The testlets, when compared with one another, the second and third definitely were more difficult than the first. Also, I had an idea of how to do all of the sims, but they were all ones where you have to enter in numbers, so even the slightest miscalculation for any of them might result in the wrong answer. Overall I spent about 1 hour on MCQ and 1 hour on sims. Is that a bad sign?

I made an 85 on a Wiley AUD practice test that I finished in just under an hour. Obviously I would have taken a little longer on the real exam, but your situation should not be alarming (if anything, the opposite.)

I was just under the wire for BEC because I take my time writing. I had lots of time for AUD and spent a lot of it checking over things and scouring AL to be sure I got as much right as possible. Same goes for REG. I passed BEC and AUD. Waiting to hear back on REG.

You could be fine and dandy. Just gotta wait for that score to post and not stress about it in the meantime.

    BEC 7/12/13 - 84
    AUD 8/31/13 - 86
    REG 4/11/14 - 84
    FAR 5/30/14 - 88

Haha I am envious – I watched the clock tick down on each exam. I finished each section and never left anything blank, but felt I needed to use all the time just to make sure I was comfortable with my answers. I know someone who finished FAR with just under 2 hours left and he passed.

Jealous of you genuises (seriously). I've always been a fast test taker… like I'd finish and wait til someone else would turn theirs in before me. But, I've never had leftover time for any CPA exam except AUD where I maybe had 25 mins left but used it to check over stuff.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83

I had about an hour left for both AUD and FAR. I've always been fast. For FAR, I tried leaving time for sims but when they came I knew practically nothing!! So needless to say, it was over fast.
