I just failed REG. I think I did good on MC and the research TBS, but the rest o the Sims!!.. Omg!! They were brutal ! I’m trying to regroup and decide if I should study from now until July and take again about 6 more weeks of studying after already studying 9 weeks 15-20 hours a week! Or should I study something else take it mid July and cram for REG again and take it Mid August? I would get both scores within about two weeks of each other, then if I pass I could proceed on.

    Help !?!?

Stick to the same part esp on Reg. I am doing it now and there is too many technical things in it to consider trying to juggle 2 parts at one time.

    Audit- 86 5/27/2015
    Regulation- 89 7/2/2015
    Bec- 83 7/23/2015
    Far- 80 8/31/2015
    Ethics-62, 90
    CMA-
    Part 1: Passed 12/10/2015
    Part 2: Passed 3/11/2016

CIA- Pass 1/29/16/// CRMA- Pass 2/9/16// CCSA- Pass 2/21/2016/// CFE- Pass 2/29/2016/// CFSA- Pass 3/15/2016

Stick with REG. It would be ok to move on to another section if you were still waiting on your scores and didn't expect to get them for another several weeks or so. Take another section while waiting on scores, but then go right back to any exam that you fail. In other words, don't jump around.

Thanks for the advice! I wish they would go ahead and release the Q3 and Q4 score release schedule! I like to wait to get my scores the least amount of time I have to so I try to plan my test for a couple of days before cut off!

Any recommendations on different more quality study methods? I watched all the videos in CPAExcel, took notes, rewrote the Ninja Notes, and did LOTS of MC and Sims. and I still didn't pass…. any suggestions?

I used CPAExcel, Ninja Notes/Audio, Ninja MCQ, and WTB for my first 4 attempts and didn't pass – 66, 62, 65, and 69. Now I am using Gleim TB/SIMs/book. I am reading the tax portion (clearly my weakness) of the book and doing as many MCQs and SIMs as possible. REG is an awful exam.

BTW – the score release should be similar to 2014 Q3 & Q4, but I know that you are looking for exact dates.

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 75
    BEC - 75
    REG - 76

Now I need some experience!!! And some networking...

Although I may change my approach for my remaining sections, I'll share what worked for me. REG was my first exam and I took it in February using only CPAexcel. I didn't end up passing but I decided to take AUD next and added Ninja Audio to my regime. I passed AUD in April and decided to purchase Ninja Audio for REG as well. After three weeks of reviewing, I took REG again and ended up passing. I had the mindset that looking at the same material shortly after failing would not help my motivation or confidence much. I hope this perspective helps!

    AUD - passed (April 2015)
    REG - passed (May 2015)
    BEC - passed (July 2015)
    FAR - passed (January 2016)
