    Hey Guys –

    I just found out i failed REG, I got a 70. I currently have FAR scheduled for July, however, I was thinking, should i just reapply quick and retake REG at the beginning of July? Some people say it’s “Fresh” in your mind so take it right away while others say to let some time pass and go back to the whole thing.

    I’d appreciate any advice or hear what worked/didnt work for those of you out there that conquered this beast!

    BEC: 73, 82 - PASSED
    AUD: 84 - PASSED
    REG: 70, 73, 80 - PASSED
    FAR: 68,65 , 75 - PASSED FINALLY!

    Lol are we the same person? I also found out I got a 70 on REG (my third failure at REG), and also was planning on taking FAR in July. I am now choosing to delay FAR and am gunning for REG in July. I have had enough of this REG crap. It's time to settle this once and for all.

    @qbaum and @Determined_To_Succeed

    I found out today that I failed reg for the third time.

    REG – 65, 66,73.

    I don't know how to approach restudying for REG again and how long I should take to retake the exam. Any suggestions?

    Reg - 65, 66, 73, 76
    FAR - 11/25/14 ???

    You're almost there, like me. Just do everything you did for your most recent attempt, and add something else. For me, it's just comes down to staying home during the weekends and just buckle down and study. And no doing extra stuff period, besides work and church. Also, I am getting a new test bank (either Ninja or Gleim), cause I have already done all 1198 Wiley Test Bank questions, so I could use a new batch of questions.

    Hey guys, you're almost there! I was bummed too when I failed REG back in February (using self-study Becker, Ninja Notes. I would highly recommend the Ninja MCQ if you haven't already been using that service. It totally made all the difference for me on the retake. I restudied my weaker areas per the Score Card, kept on top of my strong areas, and prioritized MCQ's for my weaker areas until I was ready to puke. Of course, different methods work for different people, so please take my advice with a grain of salt 🙂

    Good luck to all of you in July!

    AUD - 75 (5/13)
    BEC - 81 (8/13)
    FAR - 78 (11/13)
    REG - 66 (2/14), 87 (5/14)

    Thanks everyone!

    I used Gleim for the first two exams then purchased the 10 point combo. I've been using Gleim, Wiley, notecards. I will keep practicing. My life since I started studying has been work, gym, library. I don't have a social life anymore I really buckled down for the last exam. I just have to keep going. I think I am going to work with Wiley more efficiently and go back through all the notecards and books. I felt like I passed the last exam was in shocked when I saw the score.

    Do you have a time frame @Determined_To_Succeed on how long to restudy the materials?

    Reg - 65, 66, 73, 76
    FAR - 11/25/14 ???

    I am using CPAexcel and I plan to spend about 7 weeks and plan to take it on 7-11-14. June will be very busy at work, but I am going to just brute force my way through this. The time has come to overcome my arch-nemesis once and for all.

    I re-studied everything like I needed 75 points, and focused on areas where I was weak. As others said, you may want to give Ninja combo a try or add ninja notes or something.

    Have you already started studying for your FAR re-take? If so, how far into re-study are you?

    You may want to stick with FAR if you are already into it. Otherwise, I would say to re-take REG in the July-August window. Just my two cents.

    @10key

    Were you directing that question to me? I wasn't sure lol. But if so, I have gotten kinda far into the CPAexcel stuff, but I am so friggin bummed that I was so close with a 70. I am just postponing FAR and am just gunning for REG on 7-11-14, the date I was originally planning on taking FAR.
