I just took REG yesterday and I am being consumed by the thought of not passing! I am also being haunted by a few questions that I think I got wrong due to stupid little mistakes. Here is how my exam went:

1st testlet – marked 5-6
2nd testlet – marked 2-3
3rd testlet – marked 1

I only marked them when I wasn’t sure of the answer. This leads me to believe that I received all “medium” testlets and really had to crush the SIMS. My sim experience was i nailed the last one, hopefully picked up a lot of points on the other 3, had to guess on half of the 5th one, and not too sure i got the research one correct.

I don’t know what to make of whether I passed or failed! I studied over 250 hours for REG over the course of two months. I find out around 12/8/16 so until then I guess I will start studying for BEC. Based on my exam experience, does anyone think I passed? I want the hard and honest truth people!

You probably passed. I know it's easier said than done, but just forget about it and concentrate on your next test. Your score for REG is beyond your control now, but your BEC score needs all the focus you can muster. You can make life a lot easier for yourself if you can follow that advice each exam. I can tell you now, you will probably NEVER come out of a test feeling like you pasted, so its best just not to worry about it.

It this your first exam? I'd say anywhere 75-79 range. It could really depend on your sim performance though…best of luck!

That's great advice thank you! This is the first section I've ever taken so I just don't know what to expect! Also I'm going to start studying for BEC during these three weeks Would you recommend that I re-take REG in January? I'm trying to get at least REG and BEC done before 2/28 cause of the new test. I would love to get AUD done before then too but it just depends on what happens.

@Kevinmalone, Your experience sounds exactly like mine. Those few that i know i missed has been tormenting me since I took the exam!

I took Reg today, and I flagged quite a bit in each testlet. My SIMS were manageable..so we'll see.

Stress and gray hairs till December 8 score release..

I also keep thinking about how much time I put into REG and if I fail, not only do I have to re-hash studying, but I will have to get a new NTS and re-take it before 2/28. I'm trying not to think about it and just trying to focus on BEC now but that's easier said than done as previously mentioned!

Update!

I PASSED REG!!! I passed with a 78……… now I know that's flying by the seat of your knickers but hey passing is passing. I don't think I have ever been so nervous when looking up my score!

Anyway I don't mean to gloat or anything. @cessnapilot30 if you passed then GREAT JOB! if not then get back on that saddle and dominate it next time!

Congrats on passing! Are the questions that you “marked” the ones you thought you missed? If so, wow. Only thought you missed one on an entire testlet? I blew REG out of the water and I thought I bombed the MC. In fact I know I missed more than you marked and scored a 92. Further proves my point the grading is a crap shoot. Congrats again!

Nice work! Yeah idk I didn't mark any on the last testlet cause I really thought I got them all correct but apparently I didn't. I also keep forgetting to take into account that a bunch of MCQ's are thrown out so who knows. Taking BEC soon? I take BEC in january and audit in Feb so hopefully all goes well! good luck man!

I took BEC this morning. Feel indifferent about it so we'll see in a week. If I fail I'll retake in Jan. Good luck on your future exams!
