Hi everyone I am new to this forum, long time reader, and I usually am not the type of person to post my experiences or issues, but I had a very stressful experience this past Monday 8/28/17. I want to share my experience, so hopefully no one will experience this like I have. I have been dreading on taking REG for a while since I took it before exam change Q1 2016 in March, and did not studied at all. After that exam I was so scared and felt no matter how much I studied I will not pass combine with some personal problems that postponed my retake until recently. However, I was so happy with myself this past Monday as I walked in accepting that I will try my best, and I will be happy with the results regardless. That was the case, I recognized problems and try my best on the ones I wasn’t sure about. As I was on my last testlet with 3 sims left, and I finished the researched problems first and half of a sim, my and everyone’s computers froze and I had 15 minutes left… I was assured by Prometric that everybody’s time will be the same when computer was rebooted. That was the case except for me… I lost 14 minutes and 30 seconds and they just said sorry and will write me a case explaining my situation. I didn’t freak out or anything assuming this probably happened before and there will be a fair solution to my problem. After spending a day and a half calling NASBA, Prometric, and CBA the best solution I received was to retake the ENTIRE exam again, and they don’t consider maybe this person is on a deadline or well lets waste another week of his time studying for an exam he just took for 5 hours. I just wanted to vent the fact that out of all the solution they can give like allow me to retake the last testlet again, tell me my score without finishing 1.5 sims a little early (because maybe I could pass who knows), or grade me differently… idk. However, I have scheduled again for this coming Tuesday… and I am terrified (what happen if I get an exam that targets all my weakness like blaw lol). Everything aside, I will try my best again and hopefully I will past, and to everyone reading this… just know anything on Prometric/NASBA end regardless if it’s their fault, it they will expect you to make up for their mistakes even though they say they will “review everyone case by case and provide a solution targeted to your case” when clearly its not the case. You can’t do anything if their system fails, but what I realized is that when open up the Authoritative Literature the computer slows down and the possibility of freezing you computer increases, so be careful and be patient and don’t click around until it loads completely. Also if you computer has to be restarted, try to rush them to login in to your computer ASAP to continue your exam. I don’t post in forums often, so I am sorry in advance for complaining and I hope I don’t offend anyone.
Thanks for reading!
