It was maybe a little better than last time.

There were some MCQ’s which were difficult but also many I knew for sure. It appeared that the second testlet and third got harder but I can never really tell. I am fairly certain I did well on the first testlet.

    The SIMS were REG sims.

    -Research was easy.

-Three SIMS were identical in form to last test but the facts were different, which made it just as hard as last time.

-One was on a topic not even covered in CPAExcel but I think I did fairly well on it (I’m guessing that due to the topic, it was the pre-test).

-One was semi easy, should have picked up some points on it.

All in all, feels like a 71 or 72. Kind of bummed but get glimpes of hope.

Now that this is done, I’m getting promoted at work and will be traveling out to CA. Assuming that grades are released according to the schedule, I’ll either be on a plane, in LA, or at the Ronald Reagan museum when I get my grades back. It will likely be a rough trip.

I’m just glad to be getting some rest.

Well if I say yes, I will likely have an angry mob track me down, come to my house and beat me with sticks. I teach a lot of this stuff though, which skews my perspective some I'm sure. I do understand how this test is difficult without a more extensive background in the material.

That being said- nothing terrible or unexpected. 3 MCQs that I had NO idea on, like couldn't even eliminate an answer. Had to BS one of the WCs. Feel really good about everything else.

Congrats! BEC was the easiest section for me. Probably because I was an Econ major and have a ton of valuation experience. Feels pretty good not to have to worry about studying now, huh? Well done.

Baseball, I can't believe you used the word “shan't.” Obviously, you are spending too much time reading the tax code! 😉 I didn't question your “right” to come down on people or whatever. I know you have the right to do it. But sometimes it just gets tiresome when the SAME group of people borderline harasses the same people/person.

Haha I can see how it could come across that way. However, I think it's less that the “Hell's Angels” of this forum, so-to-speak, aim to seek out out the gazelle with a limp and pouncing on him/her like a fat kid on a ho-ho at fat camp than it is the same people wanting to be realistic with certain people instead of enabling his/her attitudes/perceptions. Some of (myself included) us could probably accomplish that objective without being an ass about it, but that's just a personal touch 🙂

That being said, I think there probably are certain members of this forum that some of us just don't get along with, so I think that there are always these metaphorical “storms brewing”. But I have personally made an attempt to not fall into those same epic battles. I think I've done well so far 🙂

And yes, “shan't” is a very underutilized contraction! To that point, I guess “shall” is an underutilized verb!

I have a humongous list of video games that I've been meaning to finish. God of war 3, uncharted 3, a lot of RPGs, continue playing street fighter 🙂
