So I managed to pass REG with a 77 (yay!) but my score report turned out to be pretty interesting.
Turns out, I was stronger in BLaw, Federal Tax, Property Tax, and Tax on Entities. I was comparable on Ethics and Individual Tax. The only area I was weaker on?? SIMs. I was a bit shocked to see that. I didn’t think that I knocked the SIM’s out of the park, but I did feel alright about all but one of them.
It also surprised me that I scored weaker on SIMs and still managed to eek out a passing score. So for anyone out there who’s wondering if it’s possible? It is.
Also of note – my exam experience was different from what I’ve been reading on here. I generally try not to guess the difficulty of my testlets because I find that’s subjective. And to me, this is proof that it is subjective. I felt that my testlets went medium-medium-easy. I didn’t feel like my questions were too intense, and the last testlet was not bad at all really. So for you testtakers freaking out because your testlets seemed to get easier, don’t give up hope!
