Hey everyone. It’s been a long journey. 3 years to be exact. After 15 sits, I can proudly say that I finally finished all the exams. I want to thank Jeff Elliot for his awesome products. I relied mostly on NINJA MCQ and NINJA Notes. The NINJA Book was definitely a useful tool when looking deeper into topics that I struggled with. When I passed my first exam – FAR – back in Fall 2014, I nearly had a heart attack. When I passed BEC in Summer 2015, I knew I was on the right track with progress. That was until AUD and REG really started to give me trouble. It took me 4 attempts to pass AUD in Winter 2016 and when I did…well…let’s just say you can view my reaction here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zwgzi2KyHDg (ENJOY!)
REG was by the far the hardest for me. I failed it 5 times which cost my credit for FAR. Thankfully, I re-passed FAR on the first try in Summer 2016. I failed REG for the 6th time and begged God to equip me with what I needed to finally pass REG. If I were to fail REG again, I would not only lose my BEC credit, but I would then have to take the CPA exam in the new 2017 format. Thankfully, my prayers were answered. I just retrieved my REG score and I passed! When I got my score, it took a second for my brain to process what I was looking at. When it clicked in my brain that I had passed, I gasp, put my hand over my mouth and start laughing maniacally with a wide Joker-esque grin with tears running down my face: “I…..did it….” I passed in the utmost perfect timing. I want to thank my family, friends and CPA exam peers; your support the last couple years has really helped me maintain my resolve. To all those NINJAs out there, don’t give up. It was really hard for me to stay motivated and confident but I still pushed; and so can you! Stay strong!

Dedication and perseverence – and a huge payoff! I talked to one person who took FAR *nine* times before he passed it. You were three under him (on REG though.)
Congratulations on your breakthrough and best of wishes for your new life as a CPA! You are forever changed!

TXCPA2016 My motivation was this: what example would I be setting if I gave up? I know it sounds cliche but when I set out to do something, I did at all costs. My only hope is that people will press on forward no matter the circumstance to achieve their dream; and that doesn't just got for a professional certification like CPA, but just in life in general.

You should be so proud of yourself! I love seeing stories like this. People who have never failed will never realize the struggles that people such as yourself have to go through. They cannot empathize with knowing what it's like to step back into that prometric center over and over again after this place broke your heart countless times. The feeling of uncertainty and self-doubt all the time, but still forcing yourself to face your fear regardless of the result. And passing FAR twice! Wow!!

Congrats man!! If you live in California or are ever here I will buy you a beer!*after i finish my exams ;)*

@chrislo2007 Sorry, man. I'm east coast.. I see you passed REG and FAR. Now don't underestimate AUD and BEC but in my opinion, you got the two hardest exams done first and that's HUGE step in the right direction.

I'm not sure how I missed the AUD video until now…I'll be stealing a clip of it for future marketing purposes if that's cool with you 🙂
