No offense to OP and not to say OP is a liar, but Google searching for Author's name is not exactly proof.
I could say “I really am Dr. Seuss, just Google for Dr. Seuss and you can see a number of my stories.”

Also, I know the forum has rules about off-site contact.
Just wanted to make sure that this is okayed and legit before people spend their time on this.

Can confirm. This is legit. Given the many articles Lea has written, and contacting her through both e-mail and LinkedIn, I'm inclined to believe this is real.
