My story: I work full-time as the head of finance for a small tech company. I passed FAR in Feb ’13 and life got in the way so I got lazy on my CPA studies. Woke up in late April ’14 in a panic realizing my FAR credit would likely expire and the thought of taking that damn test again made me shiver so I gave it 110%. Slight set back in May ’14 with a close call on REG (I almost threw in the towel) but I bounced back and took 3 parts in one week (M, Th, Fri). I used CPAExcel & Ninja audio and flashcards (awesome). Net, I am done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    FAR: 79 (Feb ’13)

    AUD: 84 (Aug ’14)

    BEC: 80 (Aug ’14)

    REG; 73 (May ’14) 82 (Aug ’14)

That's impressive, how did you manage studying for different sections at the same time? how did you schedule your studying? like Monday Reg next day Bec next day audit then redo or how?

    FAR - 71, 68, 74, (8/31/14) 78 ✔
    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 ✔
    BEC - (11/29/14) 86 ✔
    AUD - 73, (4/4/15) 86 ✔

I can't believe this is over! 2 years and 3 months..

The approach I took was study REG for 4 weeks, BEC for 4 weeks, AUD for 4 weeks to get the nuts and bolts (chapter by chapter using CPAExcel). From there, I spent the last 3-4 weeks absolutely hammering MC questions and listening to Audio. I'd go to the coffee shop and do 300-400 MC questions in 20-30 blocks, REG, BEC, AUD – rinse and repeat until you are getting 80%+. I did not focus on the SIMS or writing of BEC (I spent about an hour reviewing to get format of BEC), I rolled the dice here. The REG sims were really hard and I thought I did not pass but ended up with 82 – you never know. I think focusing on MC questions is the way to go.

I have no idea how you can do 300-400 mcq in one day. I think the most I have done in one day is slightly over 100 lol

Three parts in one week? Jesus Christ.

If you received all three passing scores at once, that must have been the greatest feeling ever…like having three simultaneous orgasms.

    AUD: 88
    BEC: 79
    REG: 81
    FAR: 72 » 74 » 88

Study method: 100% watching videos, including solving problems covered therein; no books, paper, or pencils
