I passed my last section on February 27!!!! I started a new job back in October 2016, so I don’t have enough hours at my current place of employment. I worked under a CPA at my last job who was able to sign off on my hours. However, someone told me that in PA the verifying CPA must be licensed in PA if you both worked in a PA office. The actual application says nothing about this. I don’t think it’s true, but I just wanted to see if anyone else here can confirm or deny since my old boss is licensed in NY.

Also, has anyone from PA received their congratulatory letter yet? I’m still waiting patiently. The CPA Central dashboard just says “Credit” next to each section…

    Congrats on passing!!

The verifier doesn't need to be licensed in PA. My verifier was from Ohio, and I did not get any follow up questions.

I think I received my letter within a month or so from passing, but you don't need to wait on that if you had the experience.
