Right out of school I took FAR – 77, things look good.
BEC 2 weeks later – 76, cool…i got this. halfway there
REG a month later – 64, uhh, what? crap.
AUD 3 weeks + 1 (4 year relationship) breakup – 74, damnit. i blame him
REG 4 more times – 71, 46 (didnt study), 69, 70 – I HATE THIS TEST
AUD 2 more times – 67 (didnt study), 72. – AM i going to finish?
AUD – 79 – Thank goodness! Now only REG left.
REG – if i don’t pass this, I lose credit for BEC and FAR. I don’t think I can retake all 3 again and live. Study for 2 months after work and weekends. In that 2 months I attended 2 funerals, went through 2 new clients, broken AC, lawn mower, etc. Walked out of the test totally defeated. I felt like I put 0’s on over half of the simulation answers because I ran out of time. Spent the next 3 weeks worrying/trying not to worry.
Woke up this morning feeling sick to my stomach. I didn’t want to look. Finally, I did. 81. what! I cried. My nearly 2 year journey was finally over.
Point of the story is – DON’T give up. It’s JUST a test, a really hard one that a bunch of really smart people take and only half pass. You CAN defeat it if you keep trying.
I just wanted to write out my story to give hope to all of those just beginning your testing, or nearing the finish. you all can do it.
