Found out I passed REG today. I am officially done!! So glad. These past 5 months were brutal. Just wanted to know…

What do people do with their books when they are done? (I have becker books)

What have you guys done with them? I am thinking about burning mine, along with the flashcards….

LOL… My first thought was to burn them, and I see you were also thinking about the same thing.

I haven't done all 4 exams, but I'm thinking about keeping them for future reference (though in reality I probably never look at them again)

My firm paid for my course, so they were at no cost to me… I just feel like if I burn them I will have a great sense of relief hahah… they put me through hell the past 5 months!!!

I'm with most on here. A day at the range, followed by cremating the remains may be therapeutic. My thought is, re-selling them isn’t worth the licensing violation and well, keeping them, what’s the point? If you need to look at them down the road, it’d be much more efficient and effective to look up online with any one of the vast majority of tools we have available to us.

Study material for the CPA exam really doesn't make great reference material for application in real life because despite the ridiculous amount of material they still don't go deep enough to be useful. Also, they become outdated so quickly, even if it did completely cover the topic you needed, which isn't likely, you wouldn't know about any standard changes, etc.
