My sims for REG were nasty! I am firm believer of scanning all the sims first, ranking your confidence, and starting with your highest confidence sim and working your way down regardless of the order presented.
Of the 6 presented…2 I felt confident in my abilities, 3 were difficult, and the last was completely F-ed up beyond all recognition. I had to read the fact pattern multiple times just to understand the questions and realized it was going to be a long multi-step series of calculations on a topic that was not my strong suit! I saved the worst for last, made my best attempt, and filled zeros in the boxes that I had no better ideas for because time was running very low!
I knew I had done very well on MC's because I received a medium-difficult-difficult set of testlets, but I still felt very upset leaving prometric. For my REG prep, I used a secondhand Becker textbook, Ninja Notes and Audio, and I did every question in the Wiley test bank twice, as well as all of the sims twice…but you never know what exam day will bring you! After receiving my score of a 75, I can only conclude that one of my high confidence sims was pretest and my difficult and FUBAR sim were graded! REG is over and an number of 75 or better is a relief…but those sims made things too close for my comfort!
I'm sitting for AUD on the 25th and am making sure to drill all the sims on Wiley Test Bank at least twice before exam day as I did for REG! I am the first to admit that I didn't put in nearly the amount of work in that I should have on sims the first time I sat for Audit, and it cost me a passing score and a lot of heartbreak…I certainly don't want to see ANOTHER 71 on March 11th! π
Good Luck Everyone!!!!!
