Finally, my one year and a half suffering time is paid off!! I got my license today from MA board!! YAY!!

I really appreciate everyone’s help in A71–all encouraging words, all the helpful test tips and all the great advices on my career!

To everyone that still working on the test- Stick to your goal, never give up and you are getting there!!

I just checked my bank account to see that yesterday the board cashed my $50 check for my wall certificate! Here comes the prettiest framed item in the house…. and that includes wedding and pug pictures. Well maybe not better than my pug pics…… they are the best. 🙂

Haha @mrogovitz – that's exactly what I did!

And I also received the official ‘Congratulations' in the mail with my license number. The letter said 4-6 weeks for my wallet-sized certificate to come in. I'll order the full-size off the nasba store, too 🙂

Congrats Neika! I got my wall certificate from the IL Board of Examiners yesterday but so far no news about the actual license or licensing process. From what I've read, IL can take their sweet time so I'm trying not to be too anxious (yeah, right!)

After I received my congratulatory letter, I received my wallet-sized license about two weeks after that. I don't mean to get your hopes up, because it may be a timing issue, but hopefully you don't have to wait 4 to 6 weeks.

Decided it was time to post! Received my wallet sized license in the mail last week. Somehow it didn't feel real until saw that letter from the State Board.

Still can't believe I'm finished!

@CPA_Driven – It took them so long to do my AECR, but once I sent my actual application in, it didn't take long at all. I sent in my application for the AECR on Nov 1 (same day I found out my last score, haha) and didn't hear from them until ~ mid-January. I FedExed ASAP and it was delivered to the MA Board on January 14th. I was licensed on Jan 24th. That part was quick, which I wasn't expecting! I hope you hear soon!

Congrats to all of you!! 🙂 It's so exciting to finally have it done and complete…even though you know you've passed the exams etc. It's still settling in to some extent for me…I can't wait to have the certificate. 🙂 The CPA that I'm working with part-time through tax season offered to frame it for me once I get it. haha. 🙂
