Finally, my one year and a half suffering time is paid off!! I got my license today from MA board!! YAY!!

I really appreciate everyone’s help in A71–all encouraging words, all the helpful test tips and all the great advices on my career!

To everyone that still working on the test- Stick to your goal, never give up and you are getting there!!

I got a notice from the ILLINOIS Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (licensing office) that says they cannot process my application any further until I authorize the ILLINOIS Board of Examiners (examining office) to release verification of my Certificate as an Illinois CPA directly to IDFPR. So,I can't get a CPA license in ILLINOIS until I prove that I am Certified as a CPA in ILLINOIS. Who could make this stuff up??? Hello…ILLINOIS please talk directly to ILLINOIS!

Tough Kitty – I will call them tomorrow and see what I need to do…probably sign a form, send an email or fax. I'm not to worried about it because I have the certificate and number. I sent a copy of the letter with my application but it has to come directly from ILBOE. I'm sorry you had such a bad day – Was it score release? Baxter is my cat's name so we “tough kitties” have to stick together! I hope it starts to get better for your soon! *hugs*

And no, no, no……Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that anymore….. sucks not to have signatures…. I got my license # last week! 🙂

It's just a bad day altogether…..my car didn't start this morning (long story, but it's fixed), then I had to deal with the company which was going to do my concrete patio (another long story, I told them the contract was void!), and I had some issues at work (yet another long story, but all is resolved now)….so yeah…..LONG day…….

I'm SO happy to be able to post in the “stalk your license thread”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning I sent off my application, work experience form, and payment via priority mail with a packager tracker! Last night I sent requests to my schools to mail the State Board official copies of my transcripts and have received confirmation that my requests have been processed. Now all that's left to do is wait for the State of Michigan. ETA for those slow a$$ turkeys is approx. 8-10 weeks but at least it's off my desk and on to theirs!!!! 🙂

Can't wait to be official!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. 8-10 weeks?? I did the EXACT same thing this morning, Mints. Fortunately, Florida is faster than Michigan (despite all the old people here). It's usually done within a week. Now the easy wait begins. Congrats again!

Ughhh gave former employer experience form in late December.. Checked on it today, said she'd have it hopefully by the end of the week and blamed it on the holidays lol its flippin Feb and she blamed the holidays!!

Hopefully I can have this process wrapped up before graduation, I wanna show up to my first day at the firm and demand that bonus the first day lol

I just got my congratulatory letter yesterday for passing the CPA exam. It only took them 2 months since I passed the exam to send me a form letter. I am so bummed the AZ board of accountancy is so slow. Still waiting on my license and I sent my application in on December 18th. So slow!

I did a search on IDFPR.com and my name and license number appeared with an effective date of 2/14/14!!!

FINALLY!!!! I can't believe it is real.

I haven't received official notice from the state but I have a number and an effective date so I'm putting CPA in my email signature line!!!

This is so worth working hard and never giving up!!!!
