GutiParticipantThere is a very important factor to consider here. The students who took the CPA exam 6 to 12 months after College have an advantage over the students who took the CPA 10 years after college. Obviously, the ones who took it right after college will finish the CPA exam in 4 to 6 months. If those same students would have waited 5 to 10 years to take the CPA exam, I donβt think they would have finished in 4 to 6 months.

AnonymousInactiveHa Ha Bragging is all in how you look at it. How fast did you pass or how long did you persevere? 19 months, full time job, two kids, and more 3 a.m. study sessions than I care to remember. I'm bragging. π

MintsRGoodParticipantI sat for Audit for the first time in 2011 and my second time in April 2012 before I realized that cramming for 2 weeks before the exam was NOT a successful study plan! π I signed up for a “CPA boot camp” which was a live review course that met from 6-10pm two to three times per week for 6 months and covered BEC, REG, and FAR (missed audit due to timing). I sat for REG late in 4Q 2012 and started my clock. I sat for audit 2 more times to pass, went one and done on BEC, and closed out my journey when I sat for FAR round 3 on 1/10/14. If you are counting how much of my 18 month clock I used, then 13 months. If you are counting from your first attempt to your last pass…let's call it 3 years. Either way, I'm proud to have crossed the finish line!!!!!
I said this earlier in this thread but it's worth repeating: The cowards never start and the weak die along the way!
REG: 75 DONE π
AUD: 61, 71, 68, 92 DONE π
BEC: 76 DONE π
FAR: 72, 74, 79 DONE π
