Its time to brag a little. How long did it take you to pass all 4 parts?

Took my first exam summer 2008. Hopefully taking my last exam in 10 days. Got distracted by a new job, a boyfriend that became a husband and two home ownerships in the process.

Sometimes non-CPA life happens. We all end up in the same place when we pass.

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

Not bragging, just facts baby…So happy that it is over πŸ™‚

Took me 8 months instead of planned 5 months. Most time lost was due to family-related issues, illness and non-testing months. Took about a week off between each section – during that week did not look or touched any exam materials. During the study time, put in time everyday even if mere 30 minutes and treated as an incremental progress toward victory.

Becker Class of Jan - Aug 2013: FARB DONE!!!!

    Forever and a day

    First exam July 2009

I don't care if it took you one testing window or 10 years to pass the exam. What matters is that you showed up, learned the material and passed the exams. So brag away and be proud of your accomplishment. We all have our own journey and our own obstacles.

Congratulations PASSERS and get up and keep studying to those continuing on…

A year and a day, taking one exam per window. First one was BEC on 1/4/2012. Last was FAR on 1/5/2013.

Hardest thing I've ever done and I include giving birth in the mix.

    B: 75
    R: 80
    A: 77
    F: 81
    Ethics: 84, 92 and done!

Took me two years all while working 8-12 hours at night, almost every night. Then taking most of the exams after working all night. Each person faces their own challenge while studying for this exam, all that matters is that you finish.

Nearly 5 years and thousands of dollars, but the only number that counts is the one in my signature.

It's impressive to have done it quickly, as well as to have done it over a long time. As hard as it is to pass em the first time, I can't imagine the perseverance and mental toughness you need to continue to try after multiple failures. Good stuff!
