I passed the CPA exam (received my passing score for the last part in early September). When should I expect to receive my congratulatory letter? Should I have received it already?

do i need to wait for the congratulatory letter before I submit my application for certification? PA candidate, and all of the appropriate forms (application, experience verification) can be downloaded online

AUD - EPIC FAIL, 71, 69; 68; 5/25/2013 - PASSED (85)!
REG - 10/1/2012 - 72; 7/1/2013 - 73 UGH, 10/1/2013 - PASSED (85)!
BEC - 2/28/2013 - PASSED (82)!

Used Becker self-study materials (just this for FAR original & REG #1), WileyTestBank, NINJA notes/audio, and Roger cram course for AUD #5, REG #3 & FAR reboot. CPA!

@DrumNum–Hey, I am from MA so I am not so sure how CA works. But if possible, you can find a post regarding CA candidates who has passed all the tests. 🙂

UPDATE: I called the CA Board and they said I do not need to wait for the congratulatory letter to send in my application. BUT my boss wants to have the letter before sending it to HQ to sign off my experience. So I guess I have no choice but to wait. In the meantime I will take care of the LiveScan and pics.

@ DrumNum or anyone from CA, what exactly do you get after you pass all the exams? Is there an example of this letter? (not the one after license application, but the one just after passing)?

@Cricket: You just get a letter saying you passed the test. I think it also reminds you that the test is only one of the required steps to get licensed. Sorry, I just skimmed the letter. I'll take another look when I get home.
