I'm looking at misc. emails I've gotten from NASBA/ the GA board, this is what my timeline has been so far:
11/5 – I sent all my info to NASBA (uploaded on their website)
12/6 – NASBA emailed me to say my stuff passed their final inspection, everything was good, and it was being sent to GA's board of accountancy (they emailed me some progress update emails along the way – basically this wasn't the first email I got from NASBA, rather the last)
12/10 – GA secretary of state emailed me to say the board rec'd my stuff.
I think I finally showed up with the Pending status on the state board's site the next day, 12/11. So, basically, it took a little over a month for me to show up on the state's website. But only a few days after NASBA told me I was done. Bummer this step seems to be going longer for you. Maybe because of all the holidays??
The state's 12/10 email also said it takes up to 25 business days for the application to be reviewed (which I supposed also means approved?) so I'm thinking/hoping by January 17th, I'll officially be a CPA. Total time from NASBA application submission to licensure = about 2.5 months.
