Hey all!
I’m just as excited as you all to finally sing from the roof tops! I have finally completed the CPA exams, with FAR as the last one. I quit a great paying job as a consultant (65 hour weeks!!!) in order to finish the remaining 3 exams. I passed Audit in January 2013 and then failed BEC at the end of May that same year. Then, I was promoted to manager and the remaining three parts took a back seat until October. At the point, I was determined to finish before AUD expired, so I had to choose: quit the job and commit to passing the remaining parts (and a better paying job/and more opportunities) or postpone the CPA certification for another year allowing AUD to expire. Like most of you, exam preparation has literally put my whole life on hold, particularly given the kind of hours I was working. So, I saved like crazy for 8 months and committed myself to finishing the exams in 6 months (unemployed!). My commitment, hard work, and determination paid off when I found out on August 4th that I finally passed the last part.
AUD Jan 2012
BEC May 2012 (68)
REG Jan 2013
BEC Apr 2013
FAR May 2013 (74!)
FAR Jul 2013 (81!)
