AFTER PASSING ALL THE EXAMS

    Ninjas,

    Can anybody let know:

    1. Why my cpacentral.nasba.org account shows the expiry date although i passed all the 4 sections.
    2. How soon will state Board send the congrats letter
    3. When to take the ethics exam?

    1. I had those same expiry dates as well. I don't think they matter once you pass all four, however your state might have certain guidelines or deadlines for you to apply and be certified before you lose credit for passing. I would assume a minimum of 12 months or longer probably. Best to check with your state though.

    2. My state board didn't send a congrats letter until after I fully applied and was accepted as a CPA. I did get a letter in the mail about 2 weeks after though from NASBA congratulating me.

    3. Take the Ethics exam now, it was pretty easy to knock out in about 2 hours. I did the book version and took online. My state said to print the certificate off and mail in with application as it is faster than them reporting to the state they said.

    Longest hold up for me was fingerprinting/background check. Took about a week before my state got it to clear me.
